Ordering and production
How long before my order ships?
2-3 business days. Every shirt is printed after you order it, so there is no shelf to pull it from. Orders placed before 5:00 PM Pacific Time on a business day enter production the same day; orders after that, or on a weekend or U.S. federal holiday, enter production the next business day.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Yes, if you email us within 12 hours of placing it and it has not already entered production — whichever comes first. After a shirt goes on the press it cannot be stopped, and it cannot be resold to anyone else, so we cannot cancel it at that point. Write to support@modavenpteltd.store with your order number.
Can I change the shipping address after ordering?
Only before the order enters production. Once it is printed and labeled, the address is fixed. We cannot recover a package delivered to an address that was mistyped at checkout, so please check it before you pay.
Do you hold stock?
No. Nothing is printed before it is ordered. That is why we can offer fifteen dye colors and sizes through 4XL, and also why nothing ships the same day.
Shipping
How long does delivery take?
7-9 business days in transit, on top of the 2-3 business days of printing. Total: 9-12 business days from the day you order. Business days do not include weekends or U.S. federal holidays.
What does shipping cost?
A flat $7.95 on orders under $79, and free on orders of $79 or more. One rate no matter how many shirts are in the order. Since a single shirt is $33.99, a three-shirt order already clears the threshold.
Where do you ship?
The United States only, including all fifty states. We do not ship internationally, and we do not accept international orders at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import duties?
No. Your shirt is printed and shipped from inside the United States, so there is no customs process and nothing is owed on delivery. If anyone ever contacts you asking for a fee to release a Modaven package, do not pay it — email us instead.
My tracking number is not updating
Tracking usually takes 24-48 hours to start showing movement after the shipping email arrives. That gap is the normal lag between a label being created and the carrier scanning the package. If tracking has not moved after four business days, email us.
My package says delivered but it is not here
Check with anyone else at the address and look around entryways and mailrooms first — most packages marked delivered turn up within 24 hours. If it does not, email us within seven days of the delivery scan and we will open a trace with the carrier and work it out with you from there.
Sizing and fit
How does it fit?
Relaxed. The Comfort Colors 1717 runs generously through the body and shoulders, and it is cut as a unisex shirt rather than a men's or women's fit. If you want it closer to the body, order one size down from your usual tee.
What sizes do you carry?
The Home Family Love vintage crest runs S through 4XL in black and white. The other twelve dye colors are carried in a narrower size range, so choose a color on the product page to see which sizes are actually available in it. The remaining designs are currently stocked in white only, in L, 2XL and 3XL.
Will it shrink?
The cotton is pre-shrunk, so expect very little change if you wash cold and tumble dry low. Hot water and high heat will shrink any 100% cotton garment, including this one.
Returns and refunds
What is the return window?
30 days from the date your order is delivered. The shirt needs to be unworn, unwashed, and have its tags intact.
Who pays for return shipping?
If the shirt is misprinted, defective, or damaged in transit, we cover everything and send you a prepaid label at no cost to you. If you simply changed your mind or ordered the wrong size, you cover the return shipping, and the original shipping charge is not refunded.
Is there a restocking fee?
No.
Do I ship my return to another country?
No. Returns go to our Phoenix, Arizona address. Email us first for a return authorization so your package can be matched to your order when it arrives.
How long does a refund take?
We process refunds within 5-7 business days of receiving and inspecting the return. Your bank or card issuer then takes another 3-10 business days to post it. Refunds go back to the original payment method.
The product itself
What shirt is this printed on?
A Comfort Colors® 1717. 100% ring-spun cotton at 6.1 oz per square yard, garment-dyed after construction, tubular knit with no side seams, double-needle stitched hems, and a sewn-in label instead of a neck tag.
Why is the color slightly uneven?
That is what garment dyeing does. The shirt is sewn first and dyed afterwards, so the dye settles unevenly and the seams take color differently from the body. Two shirts in the same color will not match exactly, and neither will match your screen exactly.
How should I wash it?
Machine wash cold, maximum 86°F (30°C). Do not bleach. Tumble dry low. Iron on low heat if needed. Do not dry clean.
Where is it made?
The design is printed in the United States. The blank garment itself is manufactured in Honduras. We do not call our shirts “Made in USA,” because under Federal Trade Commission guidance that claim would not be accurate for a garment sewn abroad.
