There is no stockroom behind this shop. When an order comes in, a blank shirt in the color and size you picked goes to a press, the design is printed on it, and it is packed and shipped. Before that, your shirt did not exist.
What it costs you
Time. Printing takes 2–3 business days before anything ships, and delivery adds another 7–9 — 9 to 12 business days in total. A shop holding stock can beat that.
We are not going to pretend otherwise, and we are not going to quote you the best case and hope for the middle. The range on every page is the range.
What it buys you
Fifteen colors instead of three. A shop that holds inventory has to guess how many Berry 2XL shirts will sell, and guessing wrong is expensive. So most of them carry black, white, and maybe grey. We can carry Bay, Seafoam, Chambray, Orchid and Blossom because none of them are sitting in a box costing money.
Sizes through 4XL. The same logic. Larger sizes sell in smaller numbers, which is exactly why so many graphic tee shops stop at XL.
Nothing is thrown away. The apparel industry destroys a great deal of unsold stock. A shirt made for one order does not end up in that pile.
What it means when you want to cancel
This is the honest catch. Once a shirt goes on the press it cannot be stopped, and it cannot be sold to anyone else, because it was made for you. So cancellation works within 12 hours of ordering and before production starts — after that, it is genuinely too late.
It is also why a change-of-mind return has you covering the return shipping while a misprint or a fault has us covering everything. We are not trying to be clever about it; a printed shirt has no second life.
Where it happens
Printing takes place in the United States, so nothing crosses a border on the way to you and there is no customs step. The blank garment itself — the Comfort Colors® 1717 we print on — is manufactured in Honduras.
We say both parts because both are true. We do not describe these shirts as “Made in USA,” because under Federal Trade Commission guidance that phrase means something specific and a garment sewn abroad does not meet it.
